MAP OF THINGS TO DO

Do the Coogee to Bondi Coastal Walk.  This was one of our favorite things to do in the city. Take in the view! It’s gorgeous!

Relax on the beach. Sydney is known for it’s beaches so you’ll be spending most of your time there. Bondi and Manly beach are the top beaches in the area but honestly, they are all so nice! Their beach side cafes are much cuter and cleaner than what we have in the states.

Bring Sunscreen. And a hat. The ozone layer is thinner in this part of the world and even though the temperature doesn’t seem as high take precautions!

Things to do in Melbourne

Eat. Melbourne is a foodie city and known for coffee. Eat brunch at Higher Ground, drink coffee at Duke’s and grab a croissant at Lune Croissanterie.

Ricotta Pancake at Higher Ground.

See the Penguins at St. Kilda’s Pier.  Walk to the end of the pier near the breakwater/rocks to see the penguins when night falls. Come before sunset to get a good spot and you may see a few penguins earlier! St. Kilda’s is also a cute neighborhood to walk around in and a lot closer to Melbourne city center than Phillip’s Island.

Visit Kangaroos and Koala bears. We went to Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park where the kangaroos roam around freely.

Check out Flinders Street Railway Station. There’s also a Free Tram Zone within Melbourne CBD which makes city exploration much easier.

Drink wine in Yarra Valley. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to make it to Yarra Valley but there are cute wineries there!
